7 Card Stud
7 Card Stud can be played with up to 8 players and players should note the required betting amounts more commonly known as
an Ante and a Bring-in bet before they sit down to play as they can vary from room to room.
The idea of the Ante bets is to ensure there is money in the pot and to get the game underway. Once it does start players are dealt their
first two cards and these are dealt face-down.
Next the player who shows the lowest ranking face-up card begins the first round of betting, if two or more players have the same valued card then the order is determined by suit.
All players can either place a complete bet, or a bring-in, which is less than a complete bet and acts as an additional type of blind to guarantee money in the pot.
This type of betting continues through each betting round as more and more cards are dealt, at all times it is
the player with the highest ranking exposed cards who begins each betting round.
One you get to the last stage then the final "River" cards are dealt face-down and then the last player to have placed a bet or raised shows their hand first
and the highest ranking five-card hand takes the pot.
