Texas Hold Em
Texas Hold Em is simple to play but very hard to master, it all starts with the two players who are sitting to the left of the dealer button who both have to
post blinds and these are equal to exactly half the limit they are playing. An example of this on $4-$8 Hold'em, blinds are $2-$4.
The Texas Hold em poker online dealer will then deal each of the players 2 cards face downand then we have the PreFlop which is the first round of betting.
Next the Dealer turns over 3 community cards, these will be placed in the middle of the poker table so all players can see them.
After this then the Betting moves onto the Flop stage which is the second betting round.
Then the Dealer will turn over just over 1 more community card this is called the turn, and then this is followed by
the third betting round.
After this the Dealer turns over one more and the final community card which is called the River and
at this point there will be 5 community cards of which all players still in the game have to make there best 5-card poker hand.
Players are permitted to use all 5 community cards and none from your hole cards to make your best hand, or possibly four community cards and one card from your hole cards
to make your best hand or you may choose to use three community cards and both of your hole cards to make your best hand.
After the River card has been dealt then the final betting round takes place and then we have the
Showdown which is where players reveal their hands to produce the winner.
The winner of the game is the player who has made the highest-ranking poker hand available from all hands remaining after the river card.
